The Daily Caller
Launched in 2010, the Washington DC-based Daily Caller describes itself as a 24-hour news site providing original reporting, thought-provoking commentary and breaking news. It was founded by Tucker Carlson, a veteran political commentator and journalist, and Neil Patel, former chief policy adviser to Vice President Cheney. A for-profit outlet, The Daily Caller also features political blogs, an advice column and morning email summaries of political news. In March 2011, Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, joined the staff.
